Wolf Theiss

UKRAINE

Wolf Theiss Kyiv excels in meeting the many unique challenges confronting businesses in Ukraine. We do have deep knowledge of the law, but this is only part of the story – we combine it with our understanding of the fluctuations in the political, cultural and commercial climate to give our clients advice that is both relevant and grounded in experience.

When Wolf Theiss Kyiv opened in early 2009, it was a natural extension of the work we had performed and the relationships we had built in the region for years. Since then, we have assembled a team of experts who pride themselves on completing transactions smoothly and efficiently.

We remain committed to Ukraine. Wolf Theiss Kyiv is continuing its work in actively developing legislation in Ukraine, particularly in the areas of transparency and deregulation. Our law-drafting efforts are aimed, above all, at shaping the future direction of the private equity industry by promoting private investment opportunities in Ukraine, representing the interests of private equity investors to policymakers, and helping to align the country's legal framework with a growing investment ecosystem.

Wolf Theiss Kyiv has experience in all aspects of legal projects. We bring together a range of local and international experience, covering everything from mergers and acquisitions to real estate, banking and finance, tax, customs, regulatory and life science, IP, telecommunications and IT, private equity and venture capital, energy, natural resources, and antitrust, as well as litigation/dispute resolution and while collar defence. Our practical, hands-on advice is grounded in the commercial reality of the business world.
