About Timea Csajagi

Tímea Csajági is a key member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Budapest. She focuses on complex litigation and arbitration, representing clients in high-value disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals. Her practice encompasses a wide range of matters, including civil litigation, significant tax-related disputes and administrative proceedings. Tímea has acted in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings, earning recognition for her strategic insight and practical approach.

Before joining Wolf Theiss, Tímea gained substantial experience as an attorney-at-law at leading international law firms and at a major international bank. This background enables her to navigate disputes with a deep understanding of both legal intricacies and commercial realities. Earlier in her career, she served as a legal advisor to the Hungarian Ministry of Public Administration and Justice, where she contributed to the reform and modernisation of Hungary’s civil procedural legislation, including arbitration-related provisions. She also spent several years as a legal trainee at the Supreme Court of Hungary (Kúria), assisting a financial panel in complex tax-related matters.

In addition to her legal practice, Tímea is committed to academic work. She is a lecturer at the Department of Civil Procedural Law at the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) Faculty of Law, where she teaches seminars on various aspects of civil procedure, including arbitration. Her combined experience in legislation, legal practice, and academia provides her with a comprehensive and multifaceted perspective that adds exceptional value in sophisticated dispute resolution matters.
