WT Sustainability
Responsible business. Long-term perspective.
Sustainability is part of how we manage our business, develop our organisation and take responsibility for our environmental and social impact.
Our approach brings together environmental responsibility, our commitment to our people and communities, trusted client relationships and responsible business conduct. It is based on a structured assessment of the sustainability topics most relevant to WOLF THEISS and our stakeholders and provides the foundation for our sustainability strategy, management and reporting.
Our approach
We view sustainability as an integral part of responsible business and long-term corporate development.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and upholding the highest ethical standards in every aspect of our business.
Our approach is based on a double materiality assessment, through which we identified the sustainability topics most relevant to WOLF THEISS and our stakeholders. These findings provide the foundation for our sustainability strategy and guide the continued development of our objectives, measures and reporting.
Our sustainability strategy focuses on five core elements: decarbonisation, equity and equal opportunities, education and training, ethical conduct and Well-being for All.
At WOLF THEISS, we believe that responsible business is the foundation of lasting success. Environmental, Social and Governance considerations are integral to how we operate, how we advise and how we define success.

Our sustainability priorities
Our double materiality analysis identified five sustainability topics that are particularly relevant to WOLF THEISS and our stakeholders. They provide the framework for the continued development of our sustainability management.
Climate change
Energy efficiency & emissions
We are progressively expanding our understanding of our greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact. Our priorities include improving energy efficiency, developing our corporate carbon footprint as we work towards a structured decarbonisation pathway.
Circular economy
Using resources responsibly
We aim to use resources responsibly throughout our operations. Our approach includes reducing unnecessary consumption, extending product lifecycles, responsible procurement, waste prevention and separation and integrating circular economy considerations into areas including IT, office management, events and marketing.
Our people
Creating an environment in which people can develop
Our approach to social sustainability focuses on stability and trust, mental and physical health, lifelong learning and equal opportunities.
We seek to create a working environment characterised by respect, collaboration and development and to provide opportunities for our people to contribute their individual strengths throughout their careers.
Clients
Building relationships based on trust
We align our success with that of our clients. Long-term relationships, high-quality and reliable advice, confidentiality and a strong understanding of our clients’ businesses are fundamental to how we work.
Sustainability also means responding transparently to evolving client expectations regarding our own organisation and the way in which we conduct our business.
Business conduct
Acting with integrity
Integrity, accountability and responsible decision-making are fundamental to our business.
Our governance, compliance and risk management structures provide the framework for responsible conduct across WOLF THEISS. Our approach encompasses shared corporate values, compliance and anti-corruption measures, risk management, whistleblowing and responsible relationships with business partners and suppliers.
Sustainability governance
Clear responsibilities and accountability are fundamental to our approach.
Responsibility for our sustainability strategy and sustainability reporting is assigned at Management Board level. Our Sustainability Department coordinates sustainability activities across the firm and works closely with individual departments, offices and Sustainability Representatives to develop and implement group-wide objectives and measures.
This structure enables us to integrate sustainability considerations across our organisation while maintaining clear responsibilities for their implementation.
Sustainability reporting
Transparency is an important part of our approach.
Our annual Sustainability Statement provides an overview of our sustainability management, governance, material topics, policies, initiatives and available ESG data.
Through our management, we aim to provide a transparent picture of where we stand, the progress we make and the areas in which our work continues to evolve.
Our first Sustainability Statement was prepared voluntarily and establishes the foundation for the continued development of our sustainability reporting.
Sustainability Statement 2025
Our first comprehensive Sustainability Statement brings together our sustainability strategy and management, material sustainability topics and available environmental, social and governance data.
Our perspective
When it comes to sustainability, sustained effort and commitment are required to ensure that a company remains fit for the future. At the same time, meaningful progress can only be achieved through shared responsibility.”
