Wolf Theiss further expands with six new partners

Vienna, 14 September 2023 – Wolf Theiss further strengthens its regional presence and legal expertise in CEE/SEE with six new partners: Zeno Grabmayr, Adelina Iftime-Blagean, Maciej Olszewski, Aleksandar Ristic, Bruno Stefanik, and Stefan Wartinger.

The appointment of six new partners in Belgrade, Bratislava, Bucharest, Vienna and Warsaw reflects Wolf Theiss’s commitment to further strategic growth in the region and to the expansion of its interdisciplinary consulting portfolio in CEE/SEE.

Zeno Grabmayr is a member of the Banking & Finance team in Vienna. He advises clients in the areas of Banking & Finance, M&A and corporate law, with a particular focus on transactions in the financial sector, distressed M&A, restructuring and financing. Zeno spent part of his career at Slaughter and May in London.

Adelina Iftime-Blagean is the primary contact for labor law matters as well as IP & IT at Wolf Theiss in Bucharest. Throughout her more than 15-year career, she has managed numerous transactions and projects in employment law, data protection and compliance, both in the context of cross-border mandates and nationally. Adelina’s clients include companies from the insurance, transport, agriculture, energy, TMT, FMCG and public sectors.

Maciej Olszewski is a member of the Corporate/M&A team at Wolf Theiss in Warsaw. With over 15 years of experience, Maciej has specialized in corporate transactions, including share and asset deals, equity investments, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and regulatory advice. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Maciej worked for international law firms in Warsaw and London and has experience in infrastructure and renewable energy investments.

Aleksandar Ristić is a member of the Corporate and Disputes Team at Wolf Theiss in Belgrade. Aleksandar specializes in M&A and corporate law matters, including corporate disputes and compliance/corporate investigations. He also has extensive experience in various areas of dispute resolution. Besides court litigation, Aleksandar advises on arbitration proceedings as well as on complex insolvency and restructuring cases in Serbia.

Since first joining Wolf Theiss, I have had a privilege of sharing with my colleagues the vision of highest standards in legal profession, as well as contributing to the overall development of our firm-wide practice. Aleksandar Ristić

Bruno Štefánik is a member of the Corporate/M&A Team at Wolf Theiss in Bratislava. For over ten years, Bruno has advised clients on various corporate law matters, including M&A, restructurings and regulatory issues. Before his career at Wolf Theiss, he worked in an international law firm specializing in corporate law.

Stefan Wartinger is a member of the Competition and Antitrust Law team at Wolf Theiss in Vienna. His activities encompass complex cartel and abuse proceedings before the European Commission and Austrian courts as well as leniency applications at national and EU levels. Stefan also has extensive experience in advising on merger control proceedings at the national and EU level. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Stefan was part of another successful antitrust team of another Austrian law firm.
