About Katerina Kraeva
Katerina Kraeva is the main contact for Banking & Finance in Sofia. She has extensive experience advising both lenders and borrowers on acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset based lending and restructurings. She serves in advisory roles in a wide range of cross-border and local lending projects and also advises clients on regulatory issues in the financial sector on acquisitions, sales, operations establishment, and regulatory compliance and licensing. Her expertise covers aircraft financing, Islamic finance and financial derivatives transactions. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Katerina held senior positions at international law firms and was an in-house legal advisor and chief legal advisor to Bulgarian banks for more than five years.
