Wolf Theiss contributes to the Clean Energy Tool

Wolf Theiss teamed up with fellow international law firm Simmons & Simmons to provide the Austrian section to the Clean Energy Tool platform.

This online platform grants investors access to a trustworthy legal and regulatory outline for renewable energy projects, currently across a broad spectrum of 69 jurisdictions. Subscribers using the tool are able to compare data from multiple jurisdictions, in order to obtain a first orientation of the legal landscapes in the context of investment analysis and decision making.

There is a rising demand for renewable energy on a global scale as countries strive to reduce their carbon footprint and meet climate goals. Likewise, there is also an increasing demand for clean energy infrastructure to support the growth of renewable energy sources. All elements of renewable energy projects, including permitting, resource consenting, disputes, structuring, land acquisition, etc., are encompassed within the Austrian chapter of the online tool.

The team of Wolf Theiss contributors was led by the Head of Regulatory, Planning and Environment, Kurt Retter with assistance from Dominik Engel and Georg Knafl.

To learn more about the tool, or to request a demo/free trial, please visit Clean Energy Tool.

As one of the leading law firms for energy projects in the CEE/SEE region, Wolf Theiss is ideally suited to provide you with market leading legal and/or tax advice for your renewable energy projects.
