Wolf Theiss advises Oakley Capital on the acquisition of a majority stake in Graphwise

Sofia, Vienna, 24 August 2026 – Wolf Theiss advised Oakley Capital on the Austrian and Bulgarian law aspects of the acquisition of a majority stake in Graphwise, a pioneer in knowledge graph and semantic data technology and a key enabler of enterprise AI.

Oakley Capital is a leading European mid-market private equity investor. Through its investment in Graphwise, Oakley Capital will partner with the company’s founders and management team to support its commercial expansion and strengthen its market-leading position in enterprise AI.

Formed through the combination of Sofia-founded Ontotext and Vienna-based Semantic Web Company, Graphwise helps organisations structure, connect and govern complex data for AI-driven applications. The company serves more than 200 blue-chip customers globally and enables organisations to improve the accuracy, auditability and governance of enterprise AI applications.

Working alongside lead counsel Latham & Watkins, Wolf Theiss advised Oakley Capital on all Austrian and Bulgarian law aspects of the transaction.
