Wolf Theiss advises Griffith Foods on the acquisition of Plant-Tec from LipCo Foods Group
Warsaw, 13 August 2026 – Wolf Theiss advised Griffith Foods on its acquisition of the Plant-Tec factory in Poland from LipCo Foods Group. The acquisition forms part of Griffith Foods’ European growth strategy and expands its manufacturing presence across Poland and Eastern Europe.
The investment reflects a broader shift among ingredient suppliers towards strengthening regional production networks as customers increasingly seek reliable supply, faster response times and closer collaboration on product development. Griffith Foods also highlighted Poland’s position as a gateway to other emerging markets in the region. The Polish economy is expected to grow by 3.5% in 2026, placing it among the fastest growing major economies in the EU.
Wolf Theiss acted as the Polish counsel to Griffith Foods and advised on all aspects of the transaction. The mandate included conducting comprehensive legal due diligence, preparing and negotiating the share purchase agreement and related transaction documentation, advising on all transaction-related matters and supporting the client throughout the negotiation, signing and closing phases of the transaction.
Griffith Foods is a global food product development company, while LipCo Foods Group specialises in food ingredients, dry product solutions and innovation.
