Dominik Wałkowski has over 18 years of professional experience advising on environmental risk & liability matters as well as on the development and operation of large industrial plants. He regularly represents clients in complex proceedings at environmental authorities and administrative courts. His expertise includes legal aspects of circular economy, sustainability, protection of biodiversity, extended producer responsibility, waste management, industrial emissions, and liability for environmental harm (soil and groundwater contamination, natural resources damage).
He has specific experience in matters involving international maritime law, protection of marine environment, offshore energy and decarbonisation of the shipping sector.
He is the author and co-author of several publications on environmental liability and international maritime law.
