DevCo Partners and Vexve acquire BROEN Poland with legal support from Wolf Theiss
Warsaw, 7 May 2026 – Wolf Theiss advised DevCo Partners, a Finnish private equity firm, and its portfolio company Vexve on the Polish aspects of the acquisition of BROEN Poland. The transaction forms part of Vexve’s acquisition of Broen ApS, a leading manufacturer of valve technology.
DevCo Partners Oy and Vexve Oy have completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in a Danish limited company, together with all its direct subsidiaries, including BROEN Poland sp. z o.o., from Aalberts N.V., which has owned BROEN ApS since 1993.
Vexve originally announced its intention to acquire BROEN in December 2025. The transaction strengthened Vexve’s position in its core segments through BROEN’s complementary product portfolio, strong brand and deep technical expertise. Following the transaction, the combined company has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 300 million and employs 1500 experts worldwide.
BROEN ApS is a Denmark-based valve manufacturer with production facilities in Denmark, Poland and the United States.
BROEN Poland represents a major manufacturing hub, employing nearly 400 people across two production plants in Dzierżoniów and Rogoźno. The Polish plants are certified to international standards (ISO 9001, API-6D, SIL) and produce valves ranging from DN15 to DN1000, including high-pressure and cryogenic solutions for LNG. This makes Poland a strategic pillar for BROEN’s global supply chain and a key contributor to its innovation in valve technology.
The Wolf Theiss team was led by Partner Izabela Zielińska-Barłożek, supported by Senior Associate Sylwia Staleńczyk-Janc, Associate Michał Pypka (all Corporate/M&A), Partner Marcin Rudnik (Competition), Partner Anna Dąbrowska and Counsel Piotr Wcisło (both Corporate/M&A).
Wolf Theiss advised on the Polish aspects of the transaction, working alongside Bruun & Hjejle as Danish legal counsel to the buyer.
