Vienna, Warsaw, 1 April 2026 – Wolf Theiss announces the appointment of Mikołaj Piaskowski as Partner and the addition of Michał Derdak as Counsel in the firm’s Competition and Antitrust practice in Warsaw. These appointments further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in competition law and reinforce its position in the Polish market and across the CEE/SEE region.

Michał Derdak, who joined Wolf Theiss in March 2026, brings more than 20 years of experience in competition and consumer protection law. He advises clients on regulatory risk, compliance strategies and cross-border projects and represents clients before national authorities, courts and the European Commission.

Together, they will play a key role in further developing the firm’s competition practice in Poland and supporting cross-border mandates across the region.

“Strengthening our competition practice in Poland is a strategic priority for Wolf Theiss. Mikołaj’s extensive experience and market reputation, combined with Michał’s strong regulatory and advisory expertise, will significantly enhance our offering to clients both locally and across our regional network.”
