Wolf Theiss appoints three new Counsel across its CEE/SEE offices
Vienna, Bucharest, Warsaw, 1 May 2026 – Wolf Theiss has promoted three senior lawyers to the role of Counsel, further strengthening its regional capabilities and reaffirming its commitment to developing talent from within.
The newly appointed Counsel are Andreea Carare (Romania), Olga Gerlich (Poland) and Joanna Jagiełło (Poland).
These promotions reflect the firm’s continued focus on building a highly skilled, regionally integrated team to support clients across Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. They underline Wolf Theiss’ commitment to fostering cross-border collaboration and delivering consistent, high-quality legal advice throughout the region.
Andreea Carare (Romania) is a member of the Corporate/M&A team in Bucharest. She advises international and local clients on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and general corporate matters, with a focus on cross-border investments

Olga Gerlich (Poland) is a member of the Dispute Resolution team in Warsaw. She advises on complex commercial disputes and arbitration proceedings, representing clients across a range of industries in both domestic and international matters. In addition to her litigation work, she advises the clients in matters relating to public procurement.

Joanna Jagiełło (Poland) is a member of the Corporate/M&A and Life Sciences teams in Warsaw, with a particular focus on the healthcare and life sciences sector. She plays a key role in developing the firm’s Life Sciences practice in the region. She advises domestic and international clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings as well as regulatory matters related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and food supplements.
