HR Unplugged: roundtable on current developments and challenges in employment law

Our Employment team at Wolf Theiss Romania is pleased to invite you to the sixth edition of HR Unplugged, a roundtable series addressing current developments and key challenges in employment law. The event will take place on 11 June 2026 at 11:00 at the Wolf Theiss office in Bucharest. Coffee and brunch will be provided.

The focus of this session will be Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment. The discussion will be led by Adelina Iftime-Blăgean, Andreea Stan, Costin Sălaru and Ioana Iacob and will take place in a new, larger setting designed to encourage open and constructive dialogue.

Topics will include: 

• Current legal framework: key overlaps and inconsistencies across the relevant legislation
• Internal handling of gender-based and moral harassment complaints under GD 970/2023
• How employers’ obligations regarding workplace harassment and violence are expected to expand through the implementation of International Labour Organisation Convention No. 190
• Handling claims before the National Council for Combating Discrimination (CNCD)
