Launched at the end of 2007, our Budapest office already has more than 20 lawyers. The team has many years of experience in advising international clients in all aspects of commercial law, including corporate/M&A, property & environmental law, banking & finance, and dispute resolution – with a particular emphasis on the energy sector. Furthermore the Budapest office also has a prominent tax practice. We have advised numerous foreign investors interested in setting up new businesses or arranging joint ventures here in Hungary.
Other successes include arranging project financing for major energy projects and advising on a range of big commercial property transactions. Whether we are working for domestic or international clients, we recognize that all have their own priorities – and it is our job to provide answers that work, rather than exhaustive arguments for and against. Being an international firm is a big help in this respect. It means we have hands-on experience of working in this area, as well as the international perspective that is so important in today’s business and legal climate.
