Wolf Theiss Bratislava joins the Slovak Compliance Circle

Wolf Theiss Bratislava is a new member of the Slovak Compliance Circle (SCC), a professional association focused on improving business ethics and compliance principles in Slovakia. The Slovak Compliance Circle has become a key platform in Slovakia when it comes to supporting compliance professionals and organising nationwide compliance-focused events.

“We are very pleased to announce the latest new member of the Slovak Compliance Circle: Wolf Theiss Rechtsanwälte GmbH & Co KG – Bratislava branch. With a view to sharing best practice, research and learnings from compliance leaders in various sectors and applying them to the local Slovak market, we gladly welcome Wolf Theiss – a law firm with a strong focus on the Compliance agenda – and the international expertise they bring with them,” said Martin Sasínek, Board Chairman of the SCC.

“An efficient, integrated compliance management system is not only a key tool when it comes to managing corporate and board member liability and preventing costly prosecution; it has also become a key good governance component among companies seeking to meet the current ESG demands of both consumers and authorities.”

“We appreciate the role the Slovak Compliance Circle has played in this field and it is our privilege to join forces with them to promote the principles of business ethics and compliance in Slovakia,” said Jitka Logesová, Managing Partner of the Bratislava office and Head of the firmwide Investigations, Crisis Response and Compliance practice at Wolf Theiss.

Wolf Theiss will attend the conference Slovak Compliance Days 2021, that was postponed to the coming spring, and will also be holding joint workshops on relevant topics including corporate and board member liability, with contributions from experts with vast expertise and complex know-how.
