About Smaranda

Smaranda Văcaru is a member of the Banking & Finance team in Bucharest. She has over 10 years’ experience advising international and domestic financial institutions and corporations in complex finance transactions, particularly on acquisition, project, real estate financings and general corporate lending. Smaranda also advises clients in relation to financial regulatory matters and debt capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Smaranda worked for well-known local and international law firms and gained valuable experience during a secondment to an investment fund. Smaranda has consistently been ranked by The Legal 500 as a Rising Star in Restructuring and Insolvency since 2020.
