About Pawel Laczkowski

Paweł Łączkowski leads the Energy & Natural Resources team in Poland. Drawing on his deep understanding of energy infrastructure and the sector’s business landscape, he specialises in major energy investments and advises clients on complex regulatory issues. Paweł has led and supported numerous project teams in conducting comprehensive due diligence analyses and risk assessments in the energy sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects (including energy storage), gas and hydrogen as well as nuclear energy. He has advised on and supported the negotiation of physical and virtual Power Purchase Agreements. His deep sector knowledge and solution-oriented approach enable clients to navigate the rapidly evolving energy market. Over the years, he has established himself as a recognised authority in the field of energy law. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Paweł gained experience at a leading international law firm and a Big Four consulting firm. He also served as Manager and General Counsel at one of Poland’s largest energy groups, where he headed the legal, corporate and security department of a distribution system operator. He is an attorney-at-law admitted to the Poznań Bar Association.
