Wolf Theiss advises UBM on the sale of a local retail portfolio with a volume of EUR 35 million

Vienna, 17 June 2026 – Wolf Theiss has advised UBM Development AG (“UBM”), one Austria’s leading real estate developers, on the sale of a local retail portfolio with a total volume of approximately EUR 35 million. The portfolio comprises a number of EKAZENT locations in Vienna and Schwechat.

The transaction, structured as a combination of share and asset deals, represents a further step in the strategic rebalancing of UBM’s portfolio. The seller is Ekazent Realitätengesellschaft m.b.H., which is jointly owned by UBM Development AG and FERRIS WHEEL Zwei GmbH, each holding a 50% stake.

The portfolio comprises leasehold interests in several “EKAZENT” locations in Vienna and Schwechat, including the property at Wientalstrasse 45 (1140 Vienna), EKZ Elterleinplatz 11–13 (1170 Vienna), the property at Ada‑Christengasse / Hanson Centre (1100 Vienna), the property at B7 Brünner Strasse 219–221 (1210 Vienna) as well as Zentrum Schwechat at Wiener Strasse 12–16 (2320 Schwechat). In addition, a superstructure (Superädifikat) on the property at Sibeliusstrasse 2a (1100 Vienna) and a building right (Baurecht) at Wiener Strasse 12–16 (2320 Schwechat) were transferred.
