Wolf Theiss advises Marius Pedersen on the sale of its Czech and Slovak subsidiaries to Paprec

Prague, Bratislava, 4 November 2026 – Wolf Theiss represented Marius Pedersen, a leading provider of waste management and environmental services in Central Europe, in connection with the sale of its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to Paprec, a leading French recycling and waste management group.

The transaction represents an important strategic step for Marius Pedersen and provides a strong platform for the continued development of its Czech and Slovak operations under Paprec’s ownership. The transaction also reflects continued strategic interest in the environmental services sector and the growing importance of sustainable waste management solutions across Europe.

Wolf Theiss provided comprehensive legal support to Marius Pedersen throughout the transaction, including transaction structuring, negotiation of the transaction documentation and support in connection with the signing process. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory clearances and is expected to complete in the coming months.
