Vienna, 7 June 2016 – Alexander Haas, 37, has been promoted to Partner at Wolf Theiss. Since 2006, Haas has been at Wolf Theiss in the Practice Group Banking & Finance and was appointed Counsel at the law firm in June 2014. Haas has acquired considerable experience in the area of debt capital markets (DCM), structured securities and stock exchange law.
Haas is specialized in advising finance and industrial companies in the issuance, underwriting and placing of all categories of debt securities, including bonds, mortgage bonds, certificates and other derivative products. Haas also supports issuers in their stock exchange compliance matters, advising them in meeting their legal obligations to capital market authorities and in creating stock market compliance bodies.
His mandates include, among others, advising in the issuance and placing of benchmark bonds and structured securities products for Austrian financial companies such as Raiffeisen Centrobank AG, Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark AG and Vorarlberger Landes- und Hypothekenbank Aktiengesellschaft. Further chief activities involve advising in the issuance of corporate bonds, such as those of CA Immobilien Anlagen Aktiengesellschaft, Best in Parking — Konzernfinanzierungs GmbH, KELAG-Kärntner Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft and SWIETELSKY Baugesellschaft m.b.H., both on the side of the issuers as well as on the side of the underwriting banks, such as Raiffeisen Bank International AG.
