HR Unplugged – Roundtable on current developments and challenges in employment law

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new quarterly event series initiated by the Wolf Theiss Employment Practice in Bucharest, focusing on current developments and key challenges in employment law.

The topic we propose to navigate together in this first session is AI in HR and we plan to discuss:

• Transparency and explainability in the use of AI for HR purposes
• Ensuring fairness and mitigating bias in AI-based processes
• Employer accountability when implementing AI tools
• Employees’ rights to object to automated decision-making

This format is designed to offer:

• Timely insights into emerging employment law issues
• Space for open dialogue and peer exchange
• A setting for building connections within the HR and legal community

The discussion will be led by Partner Adelina Iftime-Blagean and Counsel Andreea Stan.
