Member of the Banking & Finance practice in Warsaw, Michał Kulig has more than 12 years of professional experience working in international law firms. He focuses on advising and representing foreign and domestic banks, investors and borrowers in real estate finance, as well as financial restructurings of companies and acquisition finance. Michał has participated in numerous real estate transactions, including the financing of prominent shopping centres, office buildings, logistics centres and hotels. He participated in the financial restructuring of one of the biggest Polish companies, as well as some of the largest leveraged acquisitions on the Polish market. He also provided legal advice during the opening of a branch of a foreign bank in Poland, the sale of a bank, Brexit issues for financial institutions and the transfer of enterprise of a bank to a branch of its holding company. Michał has advised on various financial aspects of M&A and capital market transactions. He has participated as a speaker at multiple conferences organized by the Loan Market Association (LMA).
