Ceyda Akbal Schwimann
Ceyda Akbal Schwimann is an experienced arbitration lawyer with a background in international law. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Ceyda worked in the dispute resolution teams at leading Austrian and international law firms, advising corporations in cross border dispute settlements and investor/state arbitration proceedings.
Ceyda has experience working under the major arbitration rules and has represented clients in proceedings under the ICC Rules and in connection with ICSID proceedings. Before joining Wolf Theiss, she practiced at a renowned law firm in Vienna for over seven years and at an international law firm in Istanbul for over three years. Ceyda completed her Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge in the field of investment arbitration. Ceyda is admitted to the Istanbul bar. She is a solicitor of England and Wales and is registered in Austria as a European attorney.
