Vienna, 25 June 2026 – Wolf Theiss has advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on its debut investment in convertible bonds issued by AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG.

AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG successfully closed the issuance of deeply subordinated perpetual convertible bonds, totalling an aggregate principal amount of EUR 400,000,000. The convertible bonds with a denomination of EUR 100,000 are convertible into new and/or existing ordinary no-par value bearer shares of the company for a limited time and were placed with eligible counterparties and professional clients. The settlement took place on 23 June 2026.

This milestone transaction marks IFC’s first investment in this segment of the bond and equity markets and its first equity-linked deal in Austria’s real sector.

The Wolf Theiss team was led by Partner Claus Schneider and Senior Associate Sebastian Prakljacic, with support from Counsel Nikolaus Dinhof-Renezeder and Associate Magdalena Bertsch.

“We are very pleased to have been part of this transaction. We extend our gratitude to IFC for their trust in our expertise and congratulate AT&S on this successful issuance.”
