Wolf Theiss advises Erste Group Bank AG on its dual-tranche issuance of fixed-rate preferred senior notes
Vienna, 8 September 2026 – Wolf Theiss advised Erste Group Bank AG, as issuer, on the successful issuances of “EUR 750,000,000 3.500% Preferred Senior Notes due 2029” (ISIN: AT0000A3X172) and “EUR 750,000,000 3.875% Preferred Senior Notes due 2033” (ISIN: AT0000A3X180).
Erste Group Bank AG successfully completed the issuance of two tranches of preferred senior notes, each with an aggregate principal amount of EUR 750 million. The notes have maturities of three and seven years and carry fixed coupons of 3.500% and 3.875% per annum, respectively. The notes were placed with institutional investors and eligible counterparties and are listed on the Official Market (Amtlicher Handel) of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on 7 September 2026.
