Wolf Theiss advises Austrian Anadi Bank AG on its acquisition by HYPO-BANK BURGENLAND AG
Vienna, 17 February 2026 – Wolf Theiss acted as legal counsel to Austrian Anadi Bank AG in connection with the acquisition of 100% of its shares by HYPO-BANK BURGENLAND Aktiengesellschaft.
HYPO-BANK BURGENLAND Aktiengesellschaft acquired Austrian Anadi Bank AG via a share deal. The share purchase agreement was signed on 6 January 2026 and the closing occurred on 5 February 2026.
Austrian Anadi Bank AG is an Austrian bank active in the fields of digital banking, public finance and corporate banking.
HYPO-BANK BURGENLAND Aktiengesellschaft is part of the GRAWE Banking Group and provides banking and financing services to private customers, SMEs and corporates. The bank has a long-standing presence in Burgenland and Carinthia and operates within the GRAWE banking group’s multi-brand structure.
Wolf Theiss’ mandate included advising Austrian Anadi Bank AG on regulatory, capital markets, corporate and employment law matters and supporting the client throughout the transaction. This included alignment with the various parties and corporate bodies involved, as well as the Austrian Financial Market Authority.
Wolf Theiss also advised on a tender offer for two series of outstanding Tier 2 instruments of Austrian Anadi Bank AG.
