The Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCAR) will fundamentally change the legal framework for the crypto industry. For the first time in the world, trading in cryptocurrencies and tokens will be comprehensively regulated in the EU. Issuers and service providers relating to crypto assets are subject to detailed requirements.
