Enforcement of Investment Treaty Arbitration Awards – Third Edition

The third edition of Enforcement of Investment Treaty Arbitration Awards, edited by Julien Fouret and published by Globe Law and Business, expands its jurisdictional coverage to more than 30 countries and includes Austria for the first time.

Among the contributors are Wolf Theiss Partner Venus Valentina Wong and Counsel Emmanuel Kaufman, authors of the chapter Austria: Enforcement of Investment Treaty Arbitration Awards. Their contribution examines Austria’s framework for the recognition and enforcement of investment treaty awards and provides practical insights drawn from cross-border investment arbitration experience.

The publication also explores key enforcement issues including sovereign immunity, intra-EU BIT disputes and ICSID and non-ICSID enforcement mechanisms.
