Wolf Theiss strengthens its real estate and energy teams in Romania with the addition of two lawyers

Flaviu Nanu previously worked at Wolf Theiss from 2006 until 2008 and thereafter he was a counsel in the Real Estate and Energy department of the Romanian office of White & Case. Most recently, Flaviu worked as a Partner at a respected Romanian law firm. Flaviu has more than fifteen years of professional experience in the legal field, across multiple practice areas. He is specialized in real estate law, energy, as well as in mergers and acquisitions. Over the course of his legal career, Flaviu has assisted national and international clients on significant real estate projects, for the acquisition, development and operation of residential, office and retail facilities in Romania. He has also advised clients in the energy field, on the development, financing and operation of energy projects (renewable, conventional, nuclear energy, cogeneration and waste-to-energy).

Sebastian Boțic has also joined the Real Estate & Construction team in Bucharest as an Associate. Sebastian is specialized in environmental planning law, construction & infrastructure projects, as well as litigation in these areas. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, he was an in-house lawyer for NTT Data, one of the most important IT service providers in Romania. Sebastian has also worked for nine years as an architect and urban planner. He has a PhD in architecture and philosophy and has given numerous conference presentations in these areas. He has also authored and co-authored books and articles for well-known publications in Romania, on matters covering building environment philosophy and spatial planning law. Sebastian is a member of the Bucharest Bar and a member of the Romanian Registry of Urban Planners (RUR) and of the Regional Studies Association.
