About Stefan Horn

Stefan Horn specialises in real estate transactions, (commercial and private) tenancy law, and hospitality. He is experienced in advising clients in the hotel and tourism/leisure industry, in advising clients on project developments, and on the purchase and sale of hotels, office and commercial properties. Furthermore, he regularly advises on residential and commercial tenancy law. Stefan also gained extensive experience in the areas of building rights, construction contract law, the Austrian Housing Development Contract Law (BTVG) and (real estate related) stamp duty law. In addition to his work as a lawyer, he is a lecturer at Sigmund Freud University. He has authored several relevant publications and regularly lectures at international conferences and other venues.
Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Stefan was an associate in the real estate team of an international commercial law firm. He then spent four years as an assistant at the Institute for Civil Law of the University of Vienna, and was a lecturer in civil law at the University of Vienna
