About Sorin
With extensive experience in both Dispute Resolution and IP&IT matters, Sorin Dumitru brings over a decade of expertise as a seasoned litigator. Specialising in complex high-value commercial disputes, Sorin has successfully navigated cases in both courtrooms and arbitration proceedings. As a registered trademark attorney with the Romanian Patent and Trademark Office, Sorin excels in trademark prosecution and litigation, representing clients in oppositions, challenges and other trademark-related matters before local and European trademark offices. He is deeply involved in a wide range of IP court litigation, including trade secret misappropriation, patent infringement, trademark and copyright disputes. Furthermore, Sorin advises on IP portfolio management and transactional work to ensure strategic protection and leveraging of intellectual property assets, as well as on emerging technologies and evolving EU regulation. He regularly presents on IP and technology topics in Romania and internationally.
