About Ingrid

Ingrid Makarius has wide ranging experience in public procurement law, compliance and internal investigations. She is an expert in advising contracting authorities and bidders in complex tender procedures and has extensive project management experience in such matters. As such, she regularly represents clients in review proceedings before the Austrian public procurement reviewing authorities. In addition, Ingrid frequently advises bidders on their participation in tender procedures (including strategy, risk assessments, legal project management, and communication with contracting authorities). She also advises national and international clients in compliance matters related to public procurement law (“self-cleaning measures”, CMS, and compliance strategies). Ingrid has experience conducting internal investigations regarding sensitive white collar crime cases. She is the author of numerous publications on public procurement law and compliance, and regularly lectures on these topics. She is a certified crisis manager.
