About Claudia Popescu

Claudia Popescu is a highly respected practitioner with over twenty years of experience in M&A and private equity. She has advised prominent clients on complex cross-border transactions across sectors including technology, energy, automotive and industrials, healthcare, financial services and real estate. Her experience covers acquisitions and divestments, mergers, intra-group restructurings, regulatory and commercial matters, public offerings of securities, privatisations and other investment-related mandates.
Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Claudia spent more than 20 years with two international law firms. She is certified by the International Association for Sustainable Economy as an International Sustainable Business Specialist – Level II and as an Advisor – Level I.
