Wolf Theiss appoints two new Counsel in Poland and welcomes a new Partner in the Czech Republic

Vienna, Warsaw, Prague, 18 November 2025 – Wolf Theiss is pleased to announce the promotion of Katarzyna Jaroszyńska-Lewandowska and Bartosz Lewandowski from the Corporate/M&A team in Poland to Counsel, alongside the appointment of Janka Brezániová as Partner in the Corporate/M&A team in Prague. These appointments reflect the firm’s continued investment in strengthening its cross-border Corporate/M&A capabilities across the CEE/SEE region.

Strengthening Corporate/M&A capabilities in Poland

As a member of the Corporate/M&A team, Katarzyna Jaroszyńska-Lewandowska advises on capital markets, securities, financial institutions and corporate governance matters, with additional expertise in M&A transactions, local and international restructurings and corporate advisory for public companies. She has extensive experience in equity capital markets, including IPOs and the preparation of prospectuses. She also regularly represents clients before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Katarzyna is recognised by international legal directories and is admitted to the Warsaw Bar Association.

Bartosz Lewandowski is also a member of the Corporate/M&A team in Poland, focusing on M&A transactions in private and public markets for private equity and industrial investors. He also advises on corporate restructurings and day-to-day corporate matters. Bartosz has worked on a broad range of Polish and cross-border transactions, including due diligences, drafting and negotiating transactional documentation and closing and post-closing advice. He has particular experience in complex transactions in the production, IT, shipbuilding and biotechnology sectors. Bartosz is admitted to the Warsaw Bar Association.

New Partner joins Corporate/M&A in the Czech Republic

Janka Brezániová joins the Prague office as Partner in the Corporate/M&A team. With almost 20 years of experience, she advises international and domestic clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and complex transactional matters. Her experience spans a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, finance, media, technology, life sciences, gaming and automotive.
