Wolf Theiss advises Duo Energy on the acquisition of a 24 MW solar project in Nyírpazony, Hungary

Budapest, 9 October 2025 – Wolf Theiss acted as legal advisor to Duo Energy, a leading Turkish renewable group, in connection with its acquisition of a 24 MW solar project located in Nyírpazony, eastern Hungary.

This acquisition represents Duo Energy’s initial entry into the Central and Eastern European renewable energy market and forms part of its strategy to diversify its energy portfolio and contribute to the regional energy transition.

Wolf Theiss acted as lead legal advisor to Duo Energy, providing full-scope legal support throughout the transaction, including legal due diligence, drafting and negotiation of the share purchase agreement and coordination between the parties during the contracting phase. This transaction reflects Wolf Theiss’ continued commitment to supporting sustainable investments and facilitating the transition to a low-carbon economy.
