Oleg Temnikov often assists with administrative proceedings seeking to challenge aspects of Bulgarian legislation or decisions made by energy regulators. His wider disputes practice includes assisting with international arbitration proceedings and the enforcement of arbitral awards.
Oleg Temnikov is a member of the Dispute Resolution, Projects and Regulatory & Procurement teams. He joined Wolf Theiss Sofia in 2011 after being a trainee lawyer at the Paris office of a large international law firm. Oleg is experienced in a wide variety of matters, including litigation and arbitration, energy law, competition, international investment law, private international law and white collar crime. With a background in international and European law, Oleg has been involved in major domestic and international arbitration proceedingss and complex cross-border disputes. He also coaches Bulgarian teams for international arbitration competitions. Oleg specialises in the energy sector and has advised on a number of complex regulatory and dispute resolution matters in this field. His experience includes domestic and international arbitration, pre-merger legal due diligence, financing structuring, cross-border investment projects and PPPs. Oleg also advises foreign clients in connection with regulatory issues, including competition law and unfair trade practices, public utilities, energy and telecom regulations.
