Wolf Theiss' construction expert is Wolfgang Müller, who heads the Real Estate & Construction Practice Group and is recognised as one of the leading lawyers in Austria in these fields. A partner since 2012, he regularly is involved in complex matters of construction and development law both on a national and international level. He represents construction companies before courts, arbitral tribunals and FIDIC - Dispute Adjudication Boards. For the past 15 years, he has focused entirely on project related legal advice on construction projects (property construction, infrastructure projects, tunnel- and cavern construction, power plant construction, plant construction, FIDIC agreements, etc.). During and after his studies he has been working for ILF Consulting Engineers, a globally active engineering firm for almost 10 years. He is a member of the association for construction law (ÖGEBAU) and the Austrian association for geomechanics (ÖGG), author of numerous books and articles on construction law, regular author of publications in the construction magazine "SOLID" for 9 years and has been a frequent lecturer at universities of applied science on these topics. Prior to joining the firm, Wolfgang gained valuable experience while being Partner at KWR Karasek Wietrzyk Rechtsanwälte GmbH. In addition to his Austrian law degree, Wolfgang obtained a vocational training as construction tracer with ILF Consulting Engineers and is certified as a FIDIC Adjudicator (VBI / FIDIC).
