Wolf Theiss advised BNP Paribas, Erste Group Bank AG, HSBC Continental Europe and UniCredit Bank AG as banking consortium on the placement of Senior Sustainability Notes of the VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AG – Wiener Versicherung Gruppe (“VIG”) with a volume of EUR 500 million and a tenor of 15 years. The denomination is EUR 100,000 per note and the coupon 1.000% per annum. BNP Paribas, Erste Group Bank AG and HSBC Continental Europe were supported in the notes’ placement by UniCredit Bank AG as co-lead manager. The issue price was set at 99.282% of the nominal amount. VIG’s Senior Sustainability Notes are listed on the Official Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The signing of the trade took place on 23 March 2021, the closing on 26 March 2021.
