Wolf Theiss Supports Young Lawyers’ Career Development

Warsaw, 14 March 2018 – Members of the Wolf Theiss Warsaw team attended the Law Career Fair (Prawnicze Targi Praktyk i Pracy) on March 13, presenting work and training opportunities for law students and advising them on how to achieve success as commercial lawyers.

At the University of Warsaw Library, where the fair was held for the eighth consecutive year, students had the opportunity to meet Wolf Theiss associates from different practice groups and gain insights about internship and employment opportunities. The Wolf Theiss team was represented by lawyers Paweł Bukiel, Stefan Feliniak, Klaudia Dąbrowska, Damian Majda, Paulina Przewoźnik, Ewa Parczewska, and administrative staff David Rapalski, Anna Miokołajewska, Aleksandra Michalak and Michał Balcerzak. The coordination of Wolf Theiss' participation in the fair was executed by Anna Nykaza, administrative and events manager at Wolf Theiss Warsaw.

“There was a lot of interest from the students, and we talked about the advantages of working in one of the leading law firms in Central and South Eastern Europe,” said Paweł Bukiel, a member of the dispute resolution practice group of Wolf Theiss in Poland and coordinator of the firm’s internship program.
"Wolf Theiss is composed of intelligent and hard working individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Operating throughout CEE/SEE makes our firm a fascinating and challenging place to work, with a real international flavor. For these reasons and more I think we are very appealing to students and young lawyers," stated Anna Nykaza.

"As part of the fair, our Wolf Theiss Banking and Finance team organized a competition for students to design the legal structure for a loan to finance a leveraged buyout. The winner will receive a one-month paid internship with the firm. It is also an excellent opportunity to put their knowledge of banking law to the test,” said Stefan Feliniak, a senior lawyer who specializes in Banking and Finance and prepared the case.

“This competition gives you a taste of what we do at Wolf Theiss,” added Klaudia Dąbrowska, who won a similar contest last year before joining the firm and becoming a member of the Banking and Finance practice group of Wolf Theiss Warsaw.
