Wolf Theiss continues to expand its Prague Team

Prague, 27 February 2019 – Robert David will join the firm to lead the Czech banking and finance practice from 1 March 2019. Furthermore, Wolf Theiss has promoted Robert Pelikán to the partnership from the same date and appointed him as the head of the Czech dispute resolution and competition practices.

Robert David specializes in acquisition, export and real estate finance, corporate lending, refinancing and recapitalization deals. He practiced and built his career with international law firms, Allen & Overy, Linklaters and Clifford Chance.

Furthermore, the Wolf Theiss partnership promoted Robert Pelikán to partner and as the head of the Czech dispute resolution and competition practice. "Robert Pelikán is one of the foremost Czech private law experts. He enjoys a reputation as one of the eminent experts in dispute resolution and competition law. He will naturally ensure that both practices operate on a truly high level," says Logesová about Pelikán who joined Wolf Theiss as a counsel in October 2018.

Robert Pelikán can look back at a successful career as an attorney at an international law firm, as founding partner of his own law firm, and his tenure as the Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic (from 2015 to 2018).

Wolf Theiss is also happy to announce another promotion: Katerina Kulhankova, a long-term firm's associate, has been promoted to senior associate. Kateřina joined Wolf Theiss in 2012 and step by step built up her career. She primarily focuses on the firm-wide practice of IP/IT law and has extensive experience in corporate matters as well.
