About Sofia

Sofia Kovačević is a member of the Disputes team in Vienna and specialises in arbitration, litigation, and white-collar crime. Her areas of expertise focus on international investment arbitration and construction arbitration under the FIDIC rules. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Sofia worked at several prominent law firms in Vienna and Serbia, advising both international and local clients in litigation, arbitration and mediation matters. In addition to her professional experience, she worked as an intern providing legal advice to several organisations, including monitoring war crime cases before the court for the OSCE, and advocating for consumer rights at the Center for Consumer Protection at the Serbian Ministry of Trade and Services. Sofia is admitted to the Serbian bar and is a licensed mediator registered in the Serbian Ministry of Justice. She is a member of the Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP), ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF), and Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration (Young ICCA).
