About Joanna
Joanna has over 17 years’ experience focusing on bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, including litigation as well as on real estate mezzanine financing. She regularly represents debtors, funds, and Polish and international investors involved in bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, foreclosures, distressed assets purchase transactions as well as loan and claims trading. Joanna also represents creditors and Polish debtors in numerous financial transactions comprising issuance of bonds, granting syndicate loans and other loans and financing of acquisition of companies. In her litigation practice, Joanna concentrates on challenging transactions that are detrimental to creditors, insurance, infrastructure and commercial disputes. Joanna holds a restructuring advisor license in Poland and is a member of INSOL Europe (a European association of insolvency law practitioners) and the Restructuring Professionals Association (SPR).
