Anna Sękowska is a member of the tax team in Poland. She specialises in advising on national and international accounting and tax issues arising out of a variety of commercial transactions, including those related to international tax planning. She also deals with tax control proceedings and tax litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Anna’s litigation activities include the representation of tax payers in VAT and CIT matters and capital duty disputes. Anna supports the corporate and M&A team on the tax and accounting aspects of numerous share and asset acquisition deals. She studied economics at the University of Economics in Wrocław and has completed courses in accounting, tax and corporate law. In addition to being a tax adviser, Anna has years of experience as a certified accountant.
Anna acts as a one-on-one mentor in the Business Accelerator Program; supporting one of the participants in developing her business and entrepreneurial skills. The program is run by the Women's' Entrepreneurship Foundation and offers women who qualify an opportunity to participate in courses and presentations conducted by practitioners in fields such as marketing, public relations, brand building, law and accounting.
