Throughout this issue, we introduce you to the newly established online Polish arbitration court by providing a brief overview of its innovative procedures and highlighting its advantages, such as speed and ease.
Furthermore, we present the latest amendments to Polish civil procedure law which resulted in controversial changes to delivery procedures.
Building off of our previous issues, we follow-up on the question of loans tied to Swiss francs in Croatia, as the Croatian Supreme Court recently rendered an interesting decision.
With respect to consumer protection laws adapted on 20 May 2019, we also introduce two new European directives concerning contracts for the sale of goods as well as for the supply of digital content and digital services. Additionally, we will cover one of the latest decisions on consumer protection by the Austrian Supreme Court regarding the expiry date of vouchers.
