Warsaw energy team records another transactional success advising Pacificio Energy Partners purchasing PV portfolio

The Warsaw team, supervised by Counsel Konrad Kosicki and comprising Associates Sylwia Zwolan and Anna Nowodworska, advised Pacifico Energy Partners through all stages of the transaction. The team conducted full due diligence of the PV portfolio, preparing the share purchase and adjoining agreements, as well as project-related and regulatory work. Wolf Theiss assisted the client in the conclusion of multiple agreements for the acquisition and development of projects located in two regions of Poland (Podlaskie and Zachodniopomorskie).

With this transaction Pacifico Energy Partners expanded its pipeline in Poland, on the rapidly growing PV market. Pacificio Energy Partners focuses on project development and asset management. It develops greenfield projects, repowers existing plants, provides state-of-the-art asset management and development services, and facilitates the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants. For project development Pacificio Energy Partners often cooperates with local development partners. The portfolio of assets is located in Germany, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, and for project development the company is active in several more countries, including Poland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. With this transaction Pacifico Energy Partners has made yet another step in expanding its position in the European PV market.

The Energy and Natural Resources team at Warsaw office advises clients in the acquisition, development and financing of conventional and renewable energy projects, covering all regulatory issues and trading aspects of electricity, natural gas and other commodities. The practice started at the end of 2019 (when Konrad Kosicki joined) and is a part of a leading team in the CEE region ranked Band 3 by Chambers and Partners. Kosicki, ranked individually by Chambers Europe too, is a key expert for energy matters in CEE market next to Vienna-based Andreas Schmid, head of the firm-wide Projects team, and Bucharest-based Bryan Jardine, a coordinator for the regional renewable energy practice.
