Marcin Rudnik from Wolf Theiss Warsaw office among 5 lawyers promoted to counsel firm-wide

Marcin Rudnik has over 13 years of experience in working for international law firms, represented Polish and international clients in various litigation and arbitration matters before domestic and international arbitration venues in the areas of construction, corporate, commercial and unfair competition. He is an author of several guides regarding disputes in Poland and frequently holds compliance trainings for clients on Polish and EU competition rules. He is ranked and highly recommended in the World Trademark Review 2019.

Over the past few months, Marcin has been involved in leading two arbitration cases before the Polish Chamber of Commerce regarding construction disputes concerning the erection of a production hall. Another pivotal matter he has been involved in is the preperation of extensive guidelines for a car manufacturer regarding, amongst others, distribution models and protection of IP rights in Poland.

“I am happy to extend my congratulations to Marcin, who has been with Wolf Theiss Warsaw since the beginning. I remember one of the first large cases we worked on together – an arbitration before the Polish Chamber of Commerce on construction of the breakwater in Gdynia. At that time, Marcin asserted himself as reliable and efficient lawyer, which he continues to prove up to this day. We value his contributions to our team and we look forward to sharing in further success of the Warsaw office with him,” said Peter Daszkowski, managing partner in Wolf Theiss office in Warsaw.

Marcin Rudnik’s promotion is a result of consistent development of the dispute resolution practice, whose members form an increasingly strong and experienced team. “Wolf Theiss has further strengthened our Dispute Resolution capabilities in the CEE/SEE region by promoting three lawyers to the position of counsel – Nikolaus Loudon of Vienna, Žiga Dolhar of Ljubljana, and Marcin Rudnik of Warsaw. We want to acknowledge their hard work and expertise, and Wolf Theiss understands that growth from within is critical to the success of the firm. Congratulations to the three,” said Stefan Riegler, partner at Wolf Theiss’ headquarters in Vienna and head of the firm-wide Dispute Resolution team.
