Infrastructure & construction law specialist Edwina Udrescu joins Wolf Theiss

Edwina will be part of Wolf Theiss Romania team now composed of 30 lawyers, including 6 partners. She will play a leading role shaping Wolf Theiss’ local Infrastructure & Construction practice and will be responsible for identifying potential industry opportunities for Wolf Theiss clients in Romania as well as to assist them in their intent to develop such projects.

“CEE/SEE is experiencing increased activity in major construction & infrastructure projects, including Romania. I am happy to join the highly professional team of Wolf Theiss and together with my new team to assist clients in their activity aimed at modernising and enhancing Romania’s infrastructure and public interest construction projects”, said Edwina Udrescu.

Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, she led the legal department of the Romanian subsidiary of a major French construction company; advising on commercial and construction contracts, PPP & concessions, infrastructure projects, public procurement, as well as on construction disputes and in domestic (CICA Rules) and international commercial arbitration proceedings (ICC Rules). She is also experienced on all legal matters arising from real estate project development. In addition to her Romanian law degree, Edwina holds an MSc degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution awarded by King’s College, London. She is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and arbitrator on the panel of arbitrators to The Court of International Commercial Arbitration Bucharest. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
