Following a number of adopted governmental measures in the past week to fight the spread of COVID-19, the National Assembly adopted a new package of intervention laws, including the Act on Provisional Measures in connection with Judicial, Administrative and Other Public Law Matters for the Control of the Spread of Infectious Disease SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) ("Urgent Proceedings Act").
The Urgent Proceedings Act provides for a general staying of material and procedural deadlines in judicial and public matters, except in urgent matters, and other measures. These measures will apply until the Government determines they are no longer necessary, but no later than 1 July 2020.
