The Czech government has approved the final version of its "Anti-virus Programme", a financial support scheme for private-sector businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
Companies can claim state subsidies from the Government Anti-virus Programme for the period between 12 March – 30 April 2020. This period is expected to be extended as the Covid-19 epidemic develops. The programme will primarily cover wages paid to employees who cannot work but whom companies are still obliged to pay. The companies will be required to prove that impediments to work exist in the event of inspections by state authorities.
