Alexander Haas is well known for advising banks as issuers as well as bookrunners on transactions including corporate bonds, AT1 notes, tier 2 notes and green bonds. He is also experienced assisting with the exchange or repurchase of securities. According to one client, he is "reliable, reacts very quickly and is therefore good for challenging timelines. Alexander Haas is a member of the Banking & Finance team. Alexander has extensive experience in Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and structured finance. He advises financials and corporates on the issuance of bonds, covered bonds, certificates and derivatives. Legal advice in connection with the establishment and maintenance of issuance programs for notes (EMTN), certificates and structured securities (SNP) by financials and corporates is another focus of his expertise. Alexander also advised on a number of programmes for the repurchase or exchange of securities. He further assists issuers in ongoing compliance with capital market law and in the structuring of compliance organizations. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Alexander gained experience at an Austrian credit institution.
Alex leads the local voluntary fire brigade and has many years of experience in putting out fires. Something which comes in handy in the legal business as well.
